The workshop “I, Curator” was the last and the shortest workshop in 2014, which served as a preparatory workshop for the Youth Council’s upcoming January exhibition. The Council gathered ideas through different activities in order to organize and set up an exhibition of works made during their first six months of operation. The youth explored the physical and psychological dynamics of the exhibition space, and thought about the materials, obstacles, problems, and demands an exhibition entails. Nadežda Elezović, curator of the current exhibition “Aesthetics of Electricity – Spirituality and Art from the MMSU Collection,” spoke with the Council about the development of her exhibition from the idea to the result so the youth could notice and apply certain principles in the organization of their own exhibition.
Radionica „Ja, kustos“ zadnja je i ujedno najkraća radionica u 2014. godini koje je poslužila kao priprema za izložbu u siječnju. Kroz različite aktivnosti prikupljene su ideje korisnika VMB o organizaciji i postavljanju izložbe radova produciranih kroz prvih šest mjeseci djelovanja. Djeca su imala priliku upoznati se s prostorom u kojem će se izložba odvijati te promisliti o materijalima, preprekama, problemima i zahtjevima koje postavljanje jedne izložbe nosi. Kustosica tada postavljene izložbe „Estetika elektriciteta – Spiritualnost i vizualna umjetnost iz fundusa MMSU“ Nadežda Elezović, kroz razgovor o razvoju svoje izložbe i putu od ideje do konačnog rezultata, pomogla je djeci u uočavanju i primjeni pojedinih principa u organizaciji vlastite izložbe.
