Moth Garden: Family Friendly Seed Collecting

Moth Garden is an artist-made garden for moths by Lisa Hirmer and Christina Kingsbury located at Ignatius Guelph (5420 Hwy 6, just north of Woodlawn Road).
We will meet at the Farm Workshop Parking Lot (follow the signs) at 4pm and then walk together to the garden. We will walk along a gravel roadway and then mowed grass paths which have some uneven surfaces and slight inclines. This walk will take about 15 minutes and is less than 1km. Please let us know if this is an access barrier as we can arrange to shuttle some folks to the garden if needed.
The opening will run from 4-6pm. After walking to the garden, we will spend some time there learning about and respectfully collecting seeds for folks to take home, and craft moth lanterns to light our way as we walk back to the parking lot at 5:30pm as the sun is setting.
Because the garden and event are centred around meeting other beings in their own sensory worlds, and to support human access considerations, we ask that you avoid the use of insect repellents and other scented products.
